I am in charge of doing the two lines of lyrics from verse 3, which is right at the rock transition of the song: But I crumble completely when you cry. It seems like once again you've had to greet me with goodbye.

Animation
After learning the method of making kinetic typography by following the tutorial by Mr. Martin, I start working on the animation for my animated part.

EXERCISE 5: VECTOR ANIMATION
Exercise 5 details & tutorials:
Vector animation slides
Following the demo in the slides
Notes:
- Create graphics in AI, select layers that intend to animate, place them on separate layers, import to AE
- Illustrator artboard resolution: 1920 x 1080
- Bounce effect: Adjust scale & position, 3 keyframe
- Wiggle, alt-click rotation, wiggle (1.0, 30)
- Apply motion blur

FEEDBACK
Group feedback for kinetic typo draft:
- there's a comma need to be removed
- some parts have motion blur but some parts don't, should be all unite
REFLECTION
Exercise 3: As this is the first time our group had discussion, everyone was quite quiet and shy, but we all still participated in the idea brainstorming, and actually came out with the decisions for art direction. I appreciate the cooperation between my groupmates to be able to submit the exercise on time. Since this exercise is technically just the second time for me to make kinetic typography on AE, and I am a beginner of using AE who is still a bit unfamiliar with the flow, so it took me some time to get it done.
Exercise 4: I got to explore pen tool from this exercise, also learned the use of proportional grid & trim paths.
Exercise 5: This exercise was really helpful, it got me to learn the way to apply bounce & wiggle effects, I was able to use these techniques in my project 1: infographic animation & project 2: burnout animation. These effects are quite useful when it comes to making simple motions on elements.
